Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
Start Date: Thursday, July 16, 2009
End Date: Wednesday, March 30, 2011

ReplyDeleteI love it!!!!! Your ideas and goals rock!!!!! Whats a wife chop?????
ReplyDeleteDo you have to try the "50 new wines" all in one night? If so, it's gonna be an awesome night for you and your friends - but, the worst morning-after ever!! ;)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great idea! You should post the days you're going to do things, like, "take a yoga class" and others can take a class (or whatever it may be) that same day in whatever city they may be in. It would really encourage people to live and relate!
But, it sounds like fun!
Great list!
ReplyDeleteI'm also wondering what the heck a wife chop is.
Wife chop = cutting off the hair I grew out for the wedding!
ReplyDeleteI too, was wondering what a wife chop was.. but, thankfully, you said what it was!
ReplyDeleteGreat List!
This is so cool!
