Holy Canoli!

I've checked quite a few things off my list lately! Busy, busy, busy!

Firstly, on August 14, 2009, I completed #31: Move to Jacksonville!

Then, the very next day, I completed #82: Take boudoir photos.

THEN, because I was on a roll, I completed #83: Get a wife-chop.

(I apologize for the crappy resolution of the image).

I also finally got around to #94: Change my last name on my passport. Go me!

Days 1-4: Hogwarts, Vitamins, HIMYM, and dinner dates!

Started #19: Taking vitamins every day for a month. I started my day with a Flax Oil pill and my B-complex!

Started #41: Make Dinner in the Crock Pot Once a Month: I made Buffalo Chicken Lasagna from Crock Pot 365.

Started #49: Seeing 10 Movies in the theatre & continuing #54: Seeing all Harry Potter movies: Brandon and I went to see Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince this weekend. After looking forward to this movie for nearly a year, we were so excited "splurge" and go see it. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

The other day I put a hold at the library on Season 1 of HIMYM at the library to begin #63: Watch Every Episode of How I Met Your Mother

#73: Go on a Dinner Date with my Husband Once a Month: We went out to dinner Friday night with Brandon's boss, his girlfriend, and another couple. We went to this little Mediterranean place around the corner from our apartment and it was FANTASTIC! This evening also begins #50: Trying 15 new restaurants! We'd never been to Cedars Cafe before, even though its so close.

Day Zero & The List

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
Start Date: Thursday, July 16, 2009
End Date: Wednesday, March 30, 2011
Completed tasks are crossed off my list :)
